England - Yorkshire to Peak District

As we travel north through Derbyshire we pass lots of lovely homes like this one. We are skirting along the eastern edge of the Peak District National Park. UK's National Parks are not what we call National Parks in Australia. Ours are places that people visit for recreation and to enjoy nature, with lots of rules to ensure they stay as natural habitats. Here they include towns, farms and commercial businesses. We were very surprised about that.
